Guys.

Help.
What type of posts do you want to see? I seriously have no idea what to post since there isn't any news (hence the name of this blog). The reason why I haven't posted in a while isnt because I abounded this blog, but because there is nothing to post about. Oh well, 2014 is nearly over and their should be some news about the 2015 Bratz by now... I do have some drafts that I haven't finished yet, but will hopefully post once I do.

Please give some feedback to what you would like to see below in the comments.

((Sorry for the typos, I'm on my phone)

New 2014 Upcoming Bratz Lines + Thoughts

Yes, I know some of these are only the promo pictures, but since there hasn't been much news lately I decided to just post about this anyways.

Bratz Duct Tape Fashion Promo (x)

(credit for Jade's picture HERE, and Cloe HERE)
My first thought when I first saw this was "where is Sasha?" I hope she will be included in this line, even though there is a very small chance she will. But these aren't anything official after all, so it's not impossible.

They actually don't look too bad, they could be worse. This line could be very appealing to those who are interested in DIY's and crafts. And am I the only one that finds that mini polaroid picture on the bottom left of Yasmin's box extremely cute? It even says 'forever friends!'! Aww.
I must say that the more I look at this line, the more I find it cuter. It isn't the best line, but it also isn't the worst. If I have to give it a rating out of 10, I'd give it a 6.5 or 7.

Bratz My Passion Wave 2 Promo (x

Meygan as a makeup/fashion stylist (x)
Yasmin as a songwriter (x)

I am so in love with Meygan. Her hair and face are amaziingggg. She looks so adorable, and I am literally praying she will be released in Australia. Yasmin is also cute, and I'm glad they didn't change the dolls much from the promo picture.
Also, are there only going to be two dolls for this line? I don't mind much, but I would have preferred for someone other than Yasmin to be included. Yasmin looks incredibly cute though, and yay for saran hair!

What are your thoughts? Which line do you prefer, Duct Tape Fashion or My Passion Wave 2? Comment below!

Bratz 2015 Comeback: Yay or Nay?

Since it was announced that the Bratz will have another comeback in 2015, I've noticed there hasn't been much news yet. Some fans were quite displeased, while others were ecstatic.

I am a bit neutral about it to be honest. I'm glad that MGAE is going to use this year to improve the state of Bratz, but I'm not going to get my hopes high especially with what happened in 2010. I remember everyone was expecting nylon hair, good quality clothes, better themes for lines, etc. and when they were released most people's reactions were literally:

And I know there is a great chance this will continue happening even after the 2015 comeback, but what is up with the fact that when the promo pics/prototypes are released they look completely different than the actual dolls? Yes, I know they're are supposed look different because after all they are prototypes, but sometimes whenever I see a picture of one my heart aches because if only they ended up looking like that...

                                    prototype                                                                                                                              actual release

Also one more thing, why is it in some certain lines MGAE decide Sasha is not worthy enough to be in them? And I really miss it when Bratz used to come with an extra outfit instead of those 'For You!' cheap gimmick things. I'm going to stop now before this turns into a rant...

Here are some opinions of other fans when they first heard about the 2015 comeback:

"I personally think the Bratz are going to fail in 2015. Don't get me wrong, I love Bratz. They were my first doll passion. However, people have begun to forget about them. They made their first comeback in 2010 but it wasn't like, "Bratz are back!" it was more like, "hey, there are new Bratz on the shelves." I was excited at first when they came back, but then realized the quality of the dolls have gone down. The dolls themselves tended to be low quality and they were rather unattractive. I mean, the 2011 Funk n Glow dolls all looked pretty much identical! Not to mention the prototypes tended to look amazing, but the actual dolls were pretty lame. Why put awesome prototypes on the back of the boxes only to give us less impressive dolls (I'm looking at you Masquerade dolls)? These past 4 years have not been good for Bratz. If they can step up the quality and creativity they might have a chance. (...) I guess we'll see if they blow us away or leave us less than impressed (..)"

"Personally I'm so glad the bratz decided to take a year off and totslly revamp their brand ! It's the kind of thing they need now lol ! I'm really routing for them to come back with a fresh, fierce, edgy,KICK ASS look like they had in 2007 - 2008 they were the best bratz years I think.I really hope the bratz decide to come back with the older bodies and faces ! I just don't feel like they have the same "spunk" they had back then ! And they need to reintroduce classic characters back such as Dana,Nevada etc !"

"They do need a break but i haven't bought anything since 2012 LOL! they were s**t befor so i hope in 2015 they are good."

What is your opinion on the 2015 comeback? Is it a good decision or will it be a complete flop?

The Future For Bratz (2014 UPDATE)

Okay, so I'm sorry for not updating that much lately *crowd boos while I cover my face in shame*. OKAY I KNOW I APOLOGIZE A LOT. I've been going through some personal stuff in real life right now, and I couldn't find the time to sit down and write something on here. Another reason why I didn't update is because no new lines or any news has been released that is Bratz-related. Anyways, I'm here now! And the Bratz have some very big news.

So according to Bratz Boulevard , MGAE is going to spend the rest of this year giving the Bratz a huge makeover. Unfortunately, that means they are going on a hiatus for a whole year. But that also means Bratz will have a massive comeback (again) in 2015. To be honest I don't know how to feel about this. They already had a comeback in 2010 (I just realized when it's 2015 then that will make it five years after 2010 whaaaattt), but hopefully they will have better quality and won't disappoint. Oops, I nearly forgot to mention that the 2014 dolls will be international (not sold in the US). This seemed to disappoint a lot of fans in the US as they were looking forward to see the Bratz this year.

I'm not very sure if this also applies to Bratzillaz, but since there has been no information about the Bratzillaz in while then there is a chance it does.

This is off topic, but I have finally gotten the doll I'm going to do a review on from lay-by a couple of days ago. So stay tuned! :)

Happy New Year!

I remember making a 'Happy New Year' post back in 2011, and lets just say it's very embarrassing to read again. A lot of my old posts are embarrassing too...
Bratz posted on Facebook "Have you Bratzies picked out your New Year's Eve outfits yet?
Hope you all are having an awesome holiday!"

With this picture attached:

My NYE was alright to be honest. My family went over my grandparent's house and their was a lot of food (not a very good thing because of my ED). I didn't get to see the fireworks because these huge trees were covering everything, so I ended up watching it on tv.

I wonder what Bratz lines will be coming out this year... Hopefully they will be good ones that are worth the price. (Living in Australia sucks sometimes because a Bratz doll that has nylon hair, recycled shoes and a 'For you!' gimmick toy thing will be about $25 - $30)

Merry Christmas From Bratz Newz!

Merry Christmas guys! I hope everyone who reads this has a very happy Christmas full of food and presents :)

Jade also turned up today to wish you guys a Bratzilicious Christmas!
"Hey guys! It's Kool Kat here. I got you all a very scorchin' present! Enjoy your day!" - Jade

Hmm... I wonder what the present might be?

(I am so so so sorry for the crappy photo. I don't celebrate Christmas so I didn't really have anything to put in the photo. I ended up looking everywhere for any item that is related to Christmas but I only found this sliver decoration thing and ended up making the 'present' by hand. I also took the photo from my iPod and didn't get a chance to edit it as guests are currently over and I'm stuck in my room. :( oh and I couldn't really find an outfit for Jade so I ended up putting a top on top of a dress. I hope it wasn't that noticeable...)

An Interesting Find

So I was YouTube, you know, just doing my thang (that sounded cooler in my head), when I stumbled upon a very interesting video.

(video above ^)

If for some reason you are unable to watch the video, I'll tell you what it's about. It starts off with a girl that looks to be 12-13 years old lying on her bed while talking in Portuguese on her iPad/iPod/iPhone (I'm not really sure what it is). She begins to explain in Portuguese about something that has to do with Bratz and Brazil. At the end of the video, it shows a link to 'www.bratitude.com.br'

Me being me, I decided to visit the website and see what it's about (if anyone was wondering, the only working link I found to it is THIS). The website let me to this page:

Another video. I watched that one too. The video started off with 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen. A whole bunch of girls who seemed to be 12+ were in a line posing, and they were all wearing black t-shirts with the Bratz logo (?). I was really confused at this point, especially when all these girls were getting their hair and makeup done, strutting on a catwalk in front of a large crowd and judges, getting their pictures taken all while Call Me Maybe was playing in the background.

I was even more confused now, so I done a little research. It turns out that in mid-2012, there was a large competition happening in Brazil. The competition was to find the real life Jade, Yasmin, Sasha and Cloe to star in the 'Bratz Catz' commercial.

(commercial above with the winners of the competition)

With a little help from Google Translate, here is what I found:

"Which Bratz do you most identify with? Why do you have attitude? These two questions were answered by more than 18,000 girls between 6 and 14 years in the contest Bratitude. Now, four of them will be stars of the business and fashion editorials from Bratz. See how it went:

First Stage: Over 15,000 girls posted their videos and photos on the site www.bratitude.com.br. The people who received the highest number of likes were among the first 50 classified. There were more than 118 thousand likes on Facebook. The girls were successful.

Second Stage: Thirty-six dressing rooms were installed in different Brazilian cities and more girls might show because they have attitude and deserve to win. Here, over 50 girls were chosen by a committee of judges. Now, the team was complete.

Third Stage: The committee chose among the 100 classified. 20 girls participated in the grand final.

Fourth Stage: The Grand Final. A parade in Sao Paulo marked the last stage of Bratitude. With live coverage by social networks, four girls were chosen to represent Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmin."

I know this is really late as it happened last year, but when I first found out I was pretty shocked to be honest. It seemed so cool to me, and I hope they do this in other countries too.
